Its been abit but we managed to squeeze in a free minute to show you the beautiful Baillie and Danielle wedding that Andrea from Soiree planned. The linens are from Planned Perfectly and make the most sofisticated and elegant impression!

The chairs are covered with ivory giselle and also have an ivory band and brooch. The guest tables are covered with ivory pintuck linens in banquet sizes. The Family tables were also banquets and they were dressed in ivory with an ivory rosette overlay. Backdrops were used behind the band and we also draped the late night serving tables in fabric.

FAQs: Should I go with my chairs & tables covered or naked?

I was looking at the blog posts on Preston Bailey's site and came across this great post he made and thought I would share it with everyone. He is an amazing planner/event designer that you should look at when you have the time. Of course what he says here makes perfect sense to us, since what we do is linens!

I still wonder, even today, why it is that most venues have the worst tablecloths and the ugliest chairs. At times, the tablecloths do not even go all the way to the floor.
They’re usually in the most basic colors (think white), and the chairs are soiled or just plain ugly.
When I first started, I had such a difficult time convincing my clients that a great part of creating a gorgeous table is the cloth and chairs.
I find in most of Europe they are still committed to using just a plain white cloth, which of course is considered “elegant” (but I have a better word for it: “boring”).

Even if you like white tablecloths, there are many different shades of white and white fabrics or details to make it exciting.
In fact, a great tablecloth or a fun chair cover could be a great area to create a dramatic statement.
Thank god that in most countries there are great rental businesses of tablecloths and chair covers.
However, I know it can still be a bit of a challenge to convince our clients they need to pay additional fees for the rental or purchase of these items.

Here are a few suggestions to make it more cost effective for your clients:
  • Use the venue’s basic tablecloth and just rent an overlay. Overlays tend to be less costly than a full cloth.
  • Use the venue’s cloth and create a runner out of fabric or flowers–also less costly than the full cloth.
So yes, I do prefer covering my chairs and creating fun tablecloths. I always find this creates an overall more romantic and soft look.

We hope to inspire you!

Ceiling swags can dramatically change the look of a room, give us a call and ask about swags at your venue. This room was created by the incredibly talented ladies at Events by Emma! The beautiful flowers are from Floral Elements. Planned Perfectly table linens used were eggplant and silver. Ivory giselle chair covers with bands and brooches finished the look.

A few table linens to inspire you!

Don't ever be afraid of color!

A simple backdrop is beautiful.

Gold and brown makes a room so rich and warm.

Brown French Pleat adds texture and sophistication.

For this occasion Events by Emma chose cranberry linens, cranberry satin napkins, beautifully detailed table runners and gold satin chair wraps from Planned Perfectly.

The end results are always amazing!

Gold french pleat banquets, ivory satin napkins and gold chair covers, there can never be too much richness!

The highest quality linens take a room from very nice to spectacular! Ceiling swags, double backdrop and headtable all from Planned Perfectly.

It is our goal at Planned Perfectly to do everything possible with the highest quality of linens to make your event spectacular!

From the pages of Weddings in Winnipeg March issue

Check out our Linens and Chair Covers in action in the Weddings In Winnipeg March issue. For some reason we were forgotten to be listed for our linens in "The Belle Bouquet" and "At Last", but those are us also!

Enjoy!

In "The Belle Bouquet" acid green table linens were used in the reception area and eggplant satin linens were used on the cocktail tables. For the chair backs acid green and eggplant satin sashes were used.

In "At Last" sage green table linens were used for the reception.

MORE THAN WORDS
Lauren and Adam had their reception at the Manitoba Club. Andrea from Soiree was their Amazing planner.
Linens are your starting point to get the look you want in the end. Here champagne chair covers and champagne linens with an overlay were used.
